De Reizende Tentoonstelling
In Twee Werelden (Between Two Worlds) is a traveling exhibition about the Moluccan community in the Netherlands, a story of displacement, identity, and the search for belonging across generations. The exhibition was an initiative by Nathalie Toisuta, realized by Peoples Media Foundation and Media Luna, with historian Ron Habiboe and former director of the Moluccan Historical Museum Nanneke Wigard as advisors.
As production coordinator for Media Luna, I worked on bringing this exhibition online and keeping it's message moving. My work covered a range of things: web design, newsletter campaigns, social media moderation, content coordination, and budget management. When I left the project the exhibition traveled across the Netherlands from 2021 to 2024, using both indoor and outdoor spaces as exhibition grounds.
What made this project meaningful was the care everyone brought to the storytelling. With graphic design by Lizanne de Jong, photography by Ed Leatemia and invaluable support from Aristides Stamatiou. Our team worked to present this piece of Dutch-Moluccan history in a way that felt as alive and layered as the community it represents. It was a beautiful project to reconnection with my own Dutch-Indonesian family history.
